Yeah, but do we really want the lowest bidders?

(AFP/Patrick Baz) “Members of the Black Box Brigade (which incidentally seems to have ties to certain modeling agencies) are seen standing guard somewhere in Iraq. As the lowest bidder, the Black Box Brigade stands to profit greatly from Blackwater’s recent suspension. While apparently chagrined at the turn of events with Blackwater, the Bush Administration is excited about the potential of the Black Box Brigade, citing the fact that it is staffed exclusively with elite forces hand-picked by Karl Rove and Dick Cheney, and who are thus incapable of perceiving failure.”

They’re guarding a satellite dish. Thank God.

How can Iraqis enjoy their “freedom” if they can’t watch “Extreme Nanny Makeovers?”

The Author Profile: i write things. sometimes not too poorly, even. i photograph things. i don't capture them, but i render how the appeared to me, or perhaps how i might have seen them if i'd been looking in a different way. i don't believe in finalities, and new beginnings are old hat with me. i am not what i appear to be, or even what i think i am. i am, in a nutshell, a nut. eat me, or feed me to an elephant.
