I support the sciences. I believe quite strongly that scientific investigation will pull us through the next several hundred years or more as we reap the benefits of our misuse of the planet. But let’s stick to relevant stuff, shall we? Because, trust me: this tactic does not work for humans except for those young enough to go out several nights a week clubbing and bar-hopping, and most of those, ironically, use at least one form of birth control.

Weird things have been going on around here lately. I think it’s because of the new things I’ve added to the sidebars, and to a recent influx of textual content. Probably also to the increase in commentary participation. Regardless of the reasons, there’s many more items in the search terms category in Google Analytics this time around than there has been, and it was kind of interesting.

I am a bit pressed for time today, and won’t be linking to each post or posts that these phrases turn up this time—at least not all of them.

In reverse-chronological order:

1. “funniest words ever” ~ why, thank you! but actually, the words aren’t mine.
2. “iseman” ~ “I did not have sex with that lobbyist”. blah, blah, blah.
3. “biguns” ~ the president is not alone, it seems. (this term is exacerbated by its continual inclusion in these Shenanigans, however)
4. “mitch bush limited” ~ I have no idea. Limiting any capital-B Bush sounds like a good idea to me, though.
5. “torn anus” ~ ouch. this one comes up far more frequently than i think is strictly necessary. i guess she didn’t get one, though.
6. “white bitches” ~ speaking of cracks, i think this one fell through. naturally, i thought it was terribly funny, but i posted it late on a Friday—not the best timing.
7. “jewel obama” ~ an interesting idea. i don’t think Michelle would like that, though.
8. “put your hands in the air like you just don’t care” ~ and various misspellings and alternate phraseology.
9. “laura blue” ~ i’ll be they’re not happy to see this!
10. “love dolls pictures” ~ now, thems i gots!
11. “the chicken has flown the coup” ~ i’m terribly sorry to hear that.
12. “nude search engines” ~ you know, i guess that’s technically true: search engines are nude. which makes me wonder…do search engines get “casual fridays?”
13. “cheney mansion & pictures” ~ i’m telling you, it’s the shit!
14. “kid over” ~ sure, i guess so….i think? this brings up a rather eclectic mix of posts.
15. “mega strapon” ~ look, Condoleezza doesn’t live here, she just comes in for snark from time to time.
16. “condi leg’s” ~ Gah! stop it! Stop It! STOP IT!!!
17. “are mccain endorsers athiest” ~ not likely, but they probably spell about as well as you do.
18. “how the presidency ages” ~ in remarkably immature ways, it seems.
19. “pictures of pottersville mansion” ~ i think you’re looking for this guy
20. “christian snark” ~ oh yes, indeedy!
21. “mouth breather help” ~ sure, little buddy. here’s what you do. first, pinch your nose closed. next, close your mouth. stay like that for about 10 minutes, mmm-kay?
