yes, indeed. delusion interferes with reality.

yet another fine example of a talented individual giving up his dreams in favor of deference to delusion.

{sigh}

“I have my kids in religious schools and the rabbi called me over yesterday and said in order for me to keep my kids in the school I have to do what they tell me and back out,”

gah.

read a brief article on the confirmation of a depressing lack of critical thinking.

    And, as atheists, we’re supposed to respect religion because?????

  2. 2

    Spartacus, I can’t figure that one out. The older I get, the less tolerant I am of religion.

    i heard this on the radio yesterday (while sitting in the ridiculous traffic due to the streets being closed when the crane fell)

    and i said to myself — it is stuff like this that makes me embarrassed to be Jewish.. like PINY — all religions are just breeding grounds for hate and intolerance

    Why won’t this blog ever “remember” me- I have to fill this in and it moderates as if I am a new commenter?

    the “moderation” isn’t real. there’s just a delay before things are posted to the site.

    your browser should be capable of prefilling the formfields. if it’s not doing so, that’s because you’ve entered different information into them (or into formfields somewhere else that have the same field names) at some point!

WhoIs

The Author Profile: i write things. sometimes not too poorly, even. i photograph things. i don't capture them, but i render how the appeared to me, or perhaps how i might have seen them if i'd been looking in a different way. i don't believe in finalities, and new beginnings are old hat with me. i am not what i appear to be, or even what i think i am. i am, in a nutshell, a nut. eat me, or feed me to an elephant.
