to the indivuals who did the stumble-upon on this post. and congratulations, by the way, for missing the point of the post, as indicated by your references to me as “asshat” and other quaint terms. the point of it being that as a society, we Americans tend to gravitate towards the nonsensical, a point ironically obviated by visiting your stumble upon user pages. i mean, seriously, some of you kids spend your time on the most inane shit i’ve ever seen.
but thanks for doing what you do, because doing what you do makes the rest of us look a hell of a lot better than we probably are.
oh, and lest i forget, thanks a bunch for an increase in hits to the otherwhirled by an Order of Magnitude and doubling my feed subscription. i guess asshats are worth visiting, even if it is primarily a come-and-go kind of thing. although i guess ass hats are a little difficult to wear with your head in the way.

I do seriously want to thank those of you who have come by and given that post (and others, now) the thumbs-up. It’s nice to know more people who aren’t drinking the media-driven Kool-Aid.
