i’ve changed the post attributions to myself under my “real” monicker, and have made a few other adjustments. converting to the new theme is going to be a slow process throughout the day (at least) because of all the stuff i have in the sidebars.
and to make matters worse, i just discovered that i got another award, actually a considerable amount of time ago. Kate awarded me one of her very first Golden Primate Awards way back on July 15. Obviously, the several weeks of 60+ hours of work, plus wedding shoots, plus soccer refereeing and instruction, plus TaeKwonDo training and instruction, plus parenting, have been taking a toll on my ability to keep up with everything. Kate, I owe you an apology, as I believe I have let you down in your assessment of me. Yet another reason for me to get back on track here: not only am i letting myself down, i’m also lacking in the fair-and-equal exchange department.
At any rate, you’ll shortly see the theme change over, and then a relatively longish period while I restore the sidebar information in a semblance of comprehensibility under the new theme, which has a completely different layout, and no it’s not as easy as moving sidebar widgets between sidebars in wp-admin. would that it were!
Profile: i write things. sometimes not too poorly, even. i photograph things. i don't capture them, but i render how the appeared to me, or perhaps how i might have seen them if i'd been looking in a different way. i don't believe in finalities, and new beginnings are old hat with me. i am not what i appear to be, or even what i think i am. i am, in a nutshell, a nut. eat me, or feed me to an elephant.

i think i’ve got most of the difficult stuff done. there’s one minor weirdness that i don’t like, but i’ll bet it’s fixable. just gotta ask the theme designer later today. next is the sidebar info. gotta have my linkies to all my buds!
