When it comes to speedy shooting, the FinePix X100 appears to take the processing
speed to a new height with newly developed EXR Processor. It enables to utilize the
highest resolution along with dynamic range to get the optimum image quality. The icing
on the cream is that this high-speed EXR processor has been accompanied by the high-
speed CMOS sensor which adds to the improvement in the overall performance of this

Hybrid Viewfinder

What distinguishes FinePix X100 from other prevalent camera models is the hybrid
viewfinder that helps a photographer view the world around him in a fascinating and
thrilling manner. It is named as hybrid viewfinder because it combines the optical
viewfinder, which is commonly associated with traditional cameras, and an electronic
viewfinder, an integral part of digital cameras.

This Hybrid Viewfinder shows both the shooting frame and a slew of electronic shooting
data. To switch between both viewfinders, the user is required to push the “one touch
control button” and enjoy the freedom of composition irrespective of the difficult
shooting conditions. Furthermore, the high-quality electronic viewfinder can be used to
compose playback shots.

23mm Fujinon Lens

The FinePix X100 features a new non-collapsible 23 mm Fujinon lens expanding the
dominion of photographic experience with sharper resolution to even the center and
corners altogether in a uniform visibility results. The 23 mm lens has been designed in
such a manner as it can be set at eight different modes. From minimal four inches to a
considerably extended distance, it can be used to take macro as well as micro images to
enjoy the charm of close-up photography and the fascination of zoomed photography.

Nikon COOLPIX P500 Review

Published by Matt on June 16th, 2011 - in Digital Camera, Nikon

Having now almost four weeks with the new Nikon Coolpix P500, I also allow myself as a lay judge to give it. It is so far the best camera with the photograph and had until then I was a Sony TX-9H.

Pros:

- HUGE 36x Optical Zoom (at full zoom I saw structures 5 miles away as though these were two blocks away)

- Relatively lightweight little, much more compact than I was expecting.(in comparison to a beginner Digital slr)

Up to 240 FPS video, nice slow motion.

- Manual controls, essential for just about any experienced camera user.

- Buttons well organized and no problem finding and employ.

Cons:

- Image quality was good however it was virtually expected, nothing remarkable with this cost range. Should you prefer greater quality images over features within this cost range, a beginner Digital slr like the D3100 is what you want.

- Should you accidentally leave the lens cap on and turn your camera on, the lens will still try to be released and it’ll grind the motor. Be Cautious! I discovered this to become the greatest flaw, not getting a “lens cap on” sensor or perhaps a resistance sensor that will stop the motor whether it thought something in the manner.
