EXR Processor

Powered by EXR Processor, the HS20 camera enables a photographer to shoot
immaculate scenes with great speed. This camera is able to deliver high speed continued
shooting at the rate of eight frames per second with full resolution. It can capture photos
in different modes like RAW, JPEG, or its own manual mode.

EXR-CMOS Sensor with Different Mode Settings

The newly developed EXR sensor in the FinePix HS20EXR senses the scenes even
in low lighting environments. To get improved picture quality it can be used in three
different ways: capturing at full 16 megapixel in full High Resolution (HR) mode;
shooting at half-reduced 8 megapixel resolution in the Low Noise (LN) mode; and
shooting at the Dynamic Range (DR) mode in order to yield an optimal balance
between shadow and light. The Dynamic range photo-shoot can be customized at five
different strengths between 100 and1600 in accordance with the choice of professional
photographer; however, for a new user the best option is to choose EXR Automatic Mode
and let the camera choose appropriate strength for itself.

30x Zoom Lens

Capturing spots from distance remains no longer a problem, thanks to FinePix
HS20EXR’s 30x zoom lens that can cover a considerably larger range starting from
approximately 35mm. Now that the flashgun size has been reduced in HS20EXR, it is
easier to operate zoon lens manually to reach the required range in a quick manner while
ensuring immaculate framing for every image.

To control the blurring problem faced by photographers while using longer zoom lengths,
the camera is quipped with Dual Image Stabilization combined with CMOS sensor.
Not only do these technologies help reduce the blurring effect of handshake and subject
movement but also pan out in giving sharp, clean and crystal clear results even though
the camera is set at the longest zoom settings or shoots in quite challenging lighting
conditions.
